The building which hosts the Hungaria Hotel Venice was built in 1905, when the Lido was just starting to become popular as "the" resort area, and the lovely Neo-Renaissance facade was further embellished in 1914 by a polychrome majolica covering. The inside is furnished with items from the Eugenio Quarti Milan based cabinet-maker's shop which in those years headed the most refined Italian Art Nouveau furniture. The Hungaria Palace Hotel is right near the heart of Lido of Venice, five mins away from the public boat departures for S. Marco and from the reknowned beach.
