The building which hosts the Hungaria Hotel Venice was built in 1905, when the Lido was just starting to become popular as "the" resort area, and the lovely Neo-Renaissance facade was further embellished in 1914 by a polychrome majolica covering. The inside is furnished with items from the Eugenio Quarti Milan based cabinet-maker's shop which in those years headed the most refined Italian Art Nouveau furniture.
